View Video Transcript I'm actually looking forward to tomorrow, grateful to take another step in this process that started all this time ago. I want to let go of unconscious patterns, thoughts, and behaviors that no longer serve me and are blocking a life of health, wealth, and wisdom. I want to take more leadership of my life and in my business. I want to be able to speak my truth and manifest my vision for Yugen Forest. Sjanett's Story I guess the whole healing journey started quite some time ago when I was at university. I was studying psychology, which was already part of the healing process—wanting to understand the mind. I had been bullied a lot as a child, so I was really interested in understanding how this all works. During my time at university, I became addicted to cocaine and ecstasy. I also felt quite depressed, very insecure, and had persistent negative thoughts. It was hard to get up or go to school. I didn't attend university often; instead, I stayed home and did all the reading on my own. I had very good grades, so no one noticed anything unusual about me. However, I struggled deeply. Around 4 or 5 PM, during the golden hour, I would feel intensely depressed. I knew I wasn't in a good place, and I think the addiction was my way of trying to cope. When I went out with friends on the weekend and took drugs, I felt good—at least temporarily. It was a way to battle my inner struggles. Eventually, I reached out to an institution that helped people with addiction. That was the real starting point of my healing journey, and it was helpful because I quit. Ten years later, I was walking my dog while listening to a podcast. The topic of Ayahuasca as a healing medicine came up. At the time, I still had negative thoughts, and something about this concept piqued my interest. My whole body started tingling. I wanted to look into it but was hesitant. I didn’t want it to become the next addiction. Ayahuasca involves macrodosing, which is intense and requires preparation. I discovered microdosing as an alternative, which intrigued me. I Googled microdosing in the Netherlands and found the Microdosing Institute. After speaking with Hein, I started microdosing with truffles. I approached it like a researcher—I kept a journal, wrote down my feelings, and even rated them to see if it had an effect. Microdosing Institute I’ve been involved with psychedelics and their potential healing power since I was 18. After 30 years of exploring higher doses of psychedelics, I stumbled upon microdosing in 2016. I connected with James Fadiman, who became a mentor and friend. Inspired by his work, I wanted to build a platform and a website because there was so much interest but so little knowledge. We wanted a realistic viewpoint that balanced the hype and hope around microdosing. Over time, we also realized the importance of research. We built bridges between researchers and the microdosing community, facilitating studies and understanding. At the Microdosing Institute, we now guide people on their microdosing journeys, collaborating with trauma therapists, psychotherapists, and psychiatrists. Many participants in our six-week coaching programs also express interest in high-dose journeys. While we focus on microdosing, we work with facilitators like Weineke from Fellifenow, who provides high-dose experiences. We strongly believe in the synergy between microdosing and high-dose journeys, whether to prepare for or integrate the experience. Yugen Forest and Ceremonial Work Three or four years ago, I connected with the Microdosing Institute, and since then, we’ve done beautiful work, including coaching and guiding microdosing practices. At Yugen Forest, we organize retreats, ceremonies, and events focused on health and healing. This place is magical—a combination of nature’s beauty, the magic of the now, and ceremonial work involving both microdosing and macrodosing. At a Glance Embark on a journey of healing, transformation, and self-discovery with our documentary exploring the power of microdosing and psychedelic therapy. From overcoming addiction to reclaiming personal power and finding purpose, witness Sjanett's profound experiences as she navigates her path toward health, wealth, and wisdom. Follow her story as she delves into the depths of her psyche, guided by the magic of nature and the transformative power of psychedelics. Through shared moments of vulnerability and growth, Sjanett invites you to explore the interconnectedness of her journey with your own, illuminating the collective quest for healing and self-actualization. Discover the integration of ancient wisdom with modern science, and witness firsthand the impact of microdosing on mental health and well-being through Sjanett's eyes. "In this episode of the Psychedelic Medicine Podcast, Dr. Michelle Weiner joins to discuss the research on ketamine assisted psychotherapy for chronic pain conditions. Dr. Weiner is Double board-certified in Interventional Pain Medicine, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the Director of Integrative Pain Management at Spine and Wellness Centers of America. She uses a unique personalized approach to treat the root cause of one's pain using a biopsychosocial model including lifestyle and plant medicine to empower her patients to cultivate health, optimize quality of life and decrease pharmaceuticals. In this conversation, Dr. Weiner discusses her recent research into ketamine therapy for chronic pain and comorbid depression, which compared psychedelic and psycholytic doses of the dissociative. She emphasizes the importance of a biopsychosocial approach to pain treatment and sees the psychotherapy aspect of the ketamine treatments as crucial to their efficacy, as this approach allows doctors to have a better understanding of the complex etiology of the patients pain beyond just what shows up on imaging and empowers patients to actively take ownership of their pain management. While the results from Dr. Weiner's study were very encouraging, she mentions that ketamine therapies typically require maintenance and that more longitudinal research is needed to further understand how durable these changes are. Description from the Andrew Huberman YouTube Channel: "In this episode, my guest is Robin Carhart-Harris, PhD, distinguished professor of neurology and psychiatry at the University of California, San Francisco. He is one of leading researchers in the study of how psychedelics such as psilocybin, LSD and DMT can change the human brain and in doing so, be used to successfully treat various mental health challenges such as major depression, anorexia, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and addiction. He explains how psilocybin induces sustained changes in adaptive brain wiring and cognition. We discuss the key components of safe and effective psychedelic journeys, the role of hallucinations, the use of eye-masks to encourage people to "go internal," and music, as well as what effective therapist support consists of before, during and after the session (also known as integration). We discuss micodosing vs. macrodosing and how researchers control for placebo effects in psychedelic research. We also discuss the current legal landscape around psychedelic therapies. Psychedelic therapies are fast emerging as powerful and soon-to-be mainstream treatments for medical health disorders, but they are not without their risks. As such, this episode ought to be of use to anyone interested in brain plasticity, mental health, psychology or neuroscience." Click Here for a Full Playlist

Description from the Andrew Huberman YouTube Channel: "In this episode, I discuss methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA), which is also commonly known as "ecstasy" or "molly," including how it works in the brain to cause short- and long- term-shifts in emotional processing and its clinical applications for the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), alcohol and other substance-use addictions. I discuss the neuronal mechanisms for how MDMA elevates mood, empathy, motivation, social engagement, and reduces "threat detection" and how these effects can synergistically support talk therapy. I also explain the ongoing debate about the potential neurotoxicity of MDMA, myths about the origins and treatments for post-MDMA "crash," the evolving legal landscape around MDMA use for clinical purposes, and I caution recreational users about the extremely dangerous additives (e.g., fentanyl) now commonly found in black market MDMA. This should be of interest to those curious about MDMA, neuropharmacology, the origins of emotional processing in the brain, empathy, PTDS, neuroplasticity, mental health and psychiatry." I explain the typical duration and phases of a psilocybin journey, the different categories of dosages often used and I explain the importance of set, setting and support when using psychedelics. I explain which groups of people place themselves at great risk by taking psilocybin as well as groups that could benefit, and I highlight the rapidly changing legal and medical landscape around psilocybin. This episode is a thorough exploration of psilocybin from the scientific and clinical literature perspective and ought to be of interest to anyone curious about psilocybin, mental health, neuroplasticity and/or psychedelics more generally."Click Here for a Full Playlist
